Why a glossary

This category reuses a handful of words loosely enough that two vendors can describe opposite products in identical language. "Agent" covers both a system that works between your instructions and a chat box that waits for them. "Human in the loop" covers both your approval and a vendor employee's. Each entry below gives the definition and, more usefully, the commercial consequence of getting it wrong.

The two that carry the most weight in a buying decision are approval gate and deliverability, because together they explain why the fully autonomous generation of AI SDRs underperformed. See also how AI sales agents work and the tool comparisons.
